PlayMonster Group is adding two new additions to its sales division, as it welcomes Melanie Bailey as National Account Manager and Dave Trentman as Sales Manager Value Channel.
“Melanie and Dave are sales powerhouses who will be key in propelling PlayMonster’s trajectory in two strategic channels, as the retail landscape continues to evolve,” says Steve Adolph, PlayMonster CEO. “They are industry pros who have a proven track record in building long-standing relationships while delivering product and innovation to their partners.”
Bailey’s new role will have her leading specialty business, with a focus on worldwide partnerships with various retailers. She has previous experience with HearthSong, another toy company, where she managed relations with retailers and launched the company’s wholesale division.
Trentman also has experience within the industry prior to PlayMonster, serving as Senior Manager of National Accounts with Mattel. Trentman will be working with the Brands Team to review customer trends and establish PlayMonster’s positioning with retailers as he leads the company’s value channels.
PlayMonster offers a variety of toys and games, including collaborations with big brands such as Disney with the recently released game The Magical World of Disney Trivia. The company has everything from craft sets to building toys to unique plush. With the new sales division additions, PlayMonster will continue to expand its collaboration with retailers.
