Pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment will expand the theatrical release of the upcoming film Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure through a new partnership with Falling Forward Films. The movie will premiere on more than 2,100 big screens on Aug. 16.
Falling Forward Films focuses on independent film marketing and distribution. The company will help extend the domestic theatrical release of Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure this summer. The movie marks the first wide theatrical release of a digital creator-driven film, and viewers can purchase costumes based on the film in addition to Ryan’s World-branded toys.
“This collaboration (with Falling Forward Films) represents an exciting opportunity to bring the magic of Ryan’s World to even more theatrical audiences across the country,” says Chris Williams, Founder & CEO of pocket.watch.
Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure is also the first theatrical film with a cast made of digital creators, including the stars of YouTube channel Ryan’s World, the Kaji family, with Rayn Kaji, Shion Kaji, Loann Kaji, Emma Kaji, and Kate Kaji playing themselves. The movie will also feature other content creators that have partnered with pocket.watch, including Evangeline Lomelino of GEM Sisters as Aiden, Dan Rhodes as himself, and Stella Wallace of The Stella Show as Rylexa.
Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure showcases anime-style animation, produced by Shin-Ei Animation, and follows Ryan as he jumps into a comic book to save his twin sisters. Ryan and his friends will navigate the Titan Universe to bring everyone home.
“This film represents a new frontier in creator-driven entertainment and sets the stage for even more groundbreaking collaborations in the future,” says Scott Kennedy, CEO & Founder of Falling Forward Films.
