Ryan’s World is getting bigger with the launch of Ryan’s World Rescue Squad.

Pocket.watch and the Kaji family’s production studio, Sunlight Entertainment, are expanding Ryan’s World with a new series, which highlights everyday heroes and first responders. While existing Rescue Squad content is currently available on the Ryan’s World YouTube channel, this expansion will include even more live-action and animated content, toys, apparel, and Tag with Ryan integrations.

“Filming new Ryan’s World Rescue Squad content has been a great experience for our family,“ says Shion Kaji, Ryan’s father and CEO of Sunlight Entertainment. “We’re excited to shine a light on real-life heroes, such as EMTs and firemen, and for families at home to laugh and learn alongside our adventures on YouTube and streaming platforms.”

Kids can collect new Rescue Squad figures with the Ryan’s World Rescue Squad Micro Mystery Figures 2-Packs ($4.99), which come with new characters, including EMT Combo Panda, Patrol Ryan, and Fire Penguin Peck. The Rescue Squad Mega Micro Mystery Egg ($19.99) features 14 surprise toys including micro figures, a micro vehicle, Rescue Squad-themed accessories, and a comic strip. Both toys are available exclusively at Target. Ryan’s World Rescue Squad apparel and accessories are also available exclusively at Amazon.

Ryan’s World Rescue Squad characters are also joining the Tag with Ryan mobile game, which has more than 33 million downloads. In the Rescue Squad activation, kids will be randomly assigned a new character featured in the Rescue Squad toys at Target, including Fire Chief Ryan, Pilot Ryan, or Officer Ryan, whenever they open the app.

Rescue Squad-related content on Ryan’s YouTube channel has garnered over 1.2 billion views to date, and we’re excited to offer more kids an opportunity to engage with more of the Ryan’s World content and experiences they love,” says Amanda Klecker, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Franchise at Pocket.watch.

A new Ryan’s World Rescue Squad special will be available on Ryan and Friends Plus next month. Combining live-action and animation, this special features the Red Titan as he spotlights the adventures of doctors, EMTs, pilots, and more.
