Pop Mart opened a new Syndey store on April 5.
China-based Pop Mart is known for its collectible figures. The company offers original and licensed characters in mystery boxes, as individual figures, and more. Pop Mart has seen a plethora of new store openings worldwide, including two U.S. West Coast locations last year, a second permanent London location, and more. Now, the company is headed down under once again, opening its ninth Australian store.
The new location in Macquarie Centre is the fourth Sydney store for the brand. Opening day featured the Australian debut of the limited edition Labubu Hedgehog Figure, as well as the relaunch of the Zimomo Sunny Figurine. Other products featured in the opening celebrations include the Australian debut of the Dimoo We Are All Performers Figure and the Labubu X Pronounce — Be Fancy Now Vinyl Plush Doll.
The new Macquarie store spans two floors, combining a physical store with a Robo Shop. The location features life-size sculptures of popular Pop Mart figures on display.
Pop Mart’s first Australian store opened in 2021, and the brand has since opened a total of nine physical stores and 16 Robo Shops in the country.
