Radio Flyer has unveiled Radio Flyer Studios, a new division of the 107-year-old company dedicated to animated storytelling.

Radio Flyer Studios will produce digital-first stories and was inspired by the company’s Emmy Award-winning short film, Taking Flight, from 2016.

“With the founding of Radio Flyer Studios, we will continue the work we started with Taking Flight,” says Robert Pasin, Chief Wagon Officer at Radio Flyer. “Radio Flyer’s mission is to bring smiles to kids of all ages and create warm memories that last a lifetime. The studio will bring our iconic brand to life in new ways that continue to spark the same joy and imagination that we have for over 100 years.”

Media veteran Carrie Miller is joining the team as Head of Studio, having worked for 15 years at Frederator Networks, working on production for shows including Adventure Time, Bee and Puppycat, Bravest Warriors, and more. Deborah Frank will also be joining Radio Flyer Studios as an Executive Producer. Frank worked on PBS Kids properties including Work it Out Wombats! and Arthur at GBH Kids in Boston.

The addition of Radio Flyer Studios is a part of the company’s ongoing endeavor to create a brand experience for families.
