The 2017 Spielwarenmesse set a new exhibitor record of 2,871 companies showing 100,000 new products at the show. There were 73,297 visitors from all around the world, an increase from 70,714 attendees from last year.
For the first time, Spielwarenmesse brought together innovations from the technology category in a Tech2Play activity area. Manufacturers showcased more than 45 products, divided into five categories of robot toys, electronic pets, R/C drones, virtual play, and 3-D printing. Visitors were able to test out the products on display.
Next year’s Spielwarenmesse will take place from Wednesday, Jan. 31 through Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. Click here to read the full 2017 report.
