Russell Wilson With Aerobie Sonic Fin Football | Source: Spin Master

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is teaching kids how to throw like a pro — Spin Master style.

The NFL star teamed up with Spin Master to help release the new Aerobie Sonic Fin Football, designed for kids ages 8 and up. A hollow, gyroscopic design helps the football lift and travel through the air up to 100 yards. The fins are adjustable, and the football comes equipped with a calibration ring to suit right- and left-handed throwers. Once thrown, it emits a whistling sound.

“The Aerobie brand is built around high-performance and the Sonic Fin Football is engineered with innovation to deliver maximum distance,” says Spin Master President Chris Beardall. “We are excited to be launching this product with the support of NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, inspiring children around the world to get outside and discover their own athletic ability and skill.”

Wilson appears in the Sonic Fin advertisement, where he goes head-to-head with 13-year-old football star Maxwell “Bunchie” Young. Wilson is also featured on the product packaging complete with an autograph.

“The Sonic Fin Football gives kids the ability to throw like a pro — farther than they have thrown before or ever thought possible,” Wilson says. “So many kids aspire to be professional athletes and the Sonic Fin is engineered to deliver the skill, talent, and power for them to feel like one.”

The Aerobie Sonic Fin Football costs $14.99, and is scheduled for a full release on August 22. It is currently available for preorder at Walmart and Amazon.
