The Hess Corp. just unwrapped its 2021 Hess Toy Truck. Occasionally, the company throws a curveball in which its annual holiday toy isn’t a truck at all (space shuttle, RV, race car, oil tanker), and this is one of those years as the 2021 Hess Cargo Plane and Jet brings aviation into the mix.

Named one of this year’s hottest holiday toys in our sister publication, the Toy Insider‘s 16th annual Holiday Gift Guide for kids ages 3 and up, the Hess Cargo Plane and Jet features lights and sounds and comes packed with six Energizer batteries included. As in recent years, this year’s set is available exclusively at hesstoytruck.com while supplies last.

Measuring nearly 14-inches long and with a wingspan of 15-inches, the Cargo Plane is the biggest vehicle ever offered in the Hess Toy Truck collection. The heavy-load transport aircraft features a white body with a Hess Green undercarriage. The Plane also features bold green striping; a sparkling chrome nose cone and accents; six turbine engines; free-rolling, foldable landing gear; and 32 high-visibility LED lights. Kids can press the taillight to open the rear cargo bay doors revealing the Jet inside. The cargo bay is illuminated and features a hidden, slide-out ramp.

The Jet includes high-quality, motion-reactive sounds that kids will hear whenever they tilt the toy. Three buttons on top control the engine lights and activate additional sounds. The spring-loaded wings are retractable for easy storage in the Cargo Plane.

The Hess Toy Truck is a legendary holiday tradition that has grown well beyond the East Coast and is now something that families across the U.S. look forward to. This year’s 2021 Hess Cargo Plane and Jet is an incredible — and massive —addition to the fleet that kids will love, and collectors will covet for years to come.
