It’s almost an understatement, but The LEGO Group had a very good year.
The winner of The Toy Book’s Overall Pulse of Play Award continued its dominance with record revenue in 2024. The company says revenue grew 13% to DKK 74.3 billion or $10.8 billion USD. While the overall toy industry declined slightly last year, consumer sales spiked 12% for The LEGO Group as the company scored a 10% increase in operating profit.
2024 was an exceptional year for the LEGO Group and we are very pleased with our strong performance. We achieved record top- and bottom-line results even as we accelerated spending on strategic priorities, including a significant increase in the purchases of sustainable raw materials. We are encouraged by these strong results as they will allow us to continue to reach more children with LEGO play experiences now and in the future.”
In 2024, The LEGO Group unleashed its largest portfolio of new products in the company’s history. With a mix of original IP and licensed offerings, the company brought a record 840 products to retail with sets designed for builders of all ages.

The LEGO Group continued making strides in sustainability and supply chain management as it nears the 2027 opening of its U.S. factory in Virginia while growing its owned retail footprint.
Top themes last year include the growing LEGO Botanical collection, LEGO Fortnite, LEGO City, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Technic, LEGO Icons, and LEGO Harry Potter.
