Tonies is expanding its interactive audio platforms with the launch of Tonieboxes in Canada. Customers will be able to shop the products at Indigo, Toys “R” Us Canada, and Amazon this month.
“Our screen-free, educational innovation resonates deeply with parents. The early activation of nearly 5,000 Tonieboxes in Canada speaks volumes of the eager anticipation,” says Christoph Frehsee, President and Managing Director North America at Tonies.
Tonies are popular audio platforms that kids can use to listen to songs and stories by placing their figurines on the box. Canadian customers may purchase Tonieboxes with 28 content-tonies in French and English languages. The screen-free product comes with headphones and is available in three colors: blue, red, and pink. Kids can listen to popular stories, including Encanto, Frozen, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, and Tonies original Sleepy Friends.
“Our footprint in the U.S. witnessed an astounding year-over-year revenue growth of over 200% in 2022, which is a testament to the brand’s resonance. Canada, with its robust economy and thirst for educational toys, is a logical and promising step in our growth journey. We believe the Canadian market has the potential to rival 10% of our mature U.S. revenues,” says Marcus Stahl, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Tonies.
Tonies is currently available in 24 countries on three continents with plans to continue its expansion in the future. To learn more about Tonies, visit tonies.com.
