2024 marks 40 years of Transformers and 40 years of The Toy Book.

This weekend, Hasbro kicked off its Transformers 40th anniversary celebration with new action figures inspired by four decades of battles between the Autobots and Decepticons.

The initial assortment includes the Transformers Retro 40th Anniversary Autobot Blaster & Steeljaw and Transformers Retro 40th Anniversary Decepticon Soundwave, Laserbeak, & Ravage. These figures for kids ages 8 and up are inspired by the original G1 releases and feature multiple character-inspired accessories. Soundwave and Blaster each convert from boombox to robot and have push-button chest cassette doors.
