ToyFest returns to Las Vegas, showcasing toys, games, kits, and more at the World Market Center from Feb. 18 to 20, 2025.

Billed as “the first national toy fair of the year,” the annual event hosted by the Western Toy & Hobby Representatives Association (WTHRA), aims to foster collaboration among industry professionals while celebrating their contributions.

The 2025 ToyFest Party, held Feb. 20 at the Resorts World Lily Ballroom, will induct three industry icons — Michael Banducci, Stewart Rosenberg, and Mike Whitham — into the WTHRA Hall of Fame. Additionally, Washington State’s Snapdoodle Toys & Games will be recognized as Retailer of the Year.

The late Banducci, a beloved figure in the industry, began his career as a sales representative in 1988 and later founded R&M Distributors. He gained prominence through the success of the POGS trading game and his retail ventures, Games & More and Toys, Games & More. Known for his generosity and community spirit, Banducci left a lasting legacy before his passing.

Rosenberg, founder of Artist Point Wrap, revolutionized gift wrap for toy stores. Since entering the industry in the 1990s, he expanded his product line to more than 160 designs, combining practicality and joy to enhance the customer experience.

Whitham built a 27-year career as a respected sales representative for Golden Sales, growing its footprint in Northern California and Nevada. He retired in 2023, leaving a legacy of professionalism and strong relationships.

Snapdoodle Toys & Games, a family-owned retailer with nine locations, is lauded for offering educational toys that inspire creativity.

“Our mission has always been to offer families high-quality, educational toys that encourage learning and play,” says Rob Pickering, Founder and Owner. The retailer first attended ToyFest in 2009.

Plans for the show continue to develop, with more details to follow. Exhibitor space is still available, and retailers are buzzing about ToyFest’s growth into a must-attend event.

The WTHRA Board of Directors and ToyFest Slate of Officers encourage attendees and exhibitors to download the new ToyFest App via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
