World of Barbie is an attraction put on by Mattel, Kilburn Live, and IMG. The companies partnered to bring the huge multi-installation event to Toronto, Canada. Now, the event will be debuting in the U.S. in Santa Monica, CA on April 14.

World of Barbie has a number of Barbie-centered attractions that were available in Toronto and will continue to be featured within the U.S. location, including a life-sized Barbie Dreamhouse, the Barbie Camper Van, a Fashion Studio, a TV Studio, a Space Center, a Salon, a Movie Theater, and more.

“As the number one doll property worldwide and the most diverse doll line on the market, Barbie is a global phenomenon,” says Julie Freeland, Senior Director of Global Location Based Entertainment, Mattel. “At World of Barbie, we are excited to offer guests of all ages a larger-than-life, inspiring experience that reminds fans why they fell in love with Barbie and that they can do anything and be anything.”

In addition to the attractions already mentioned, the Los Angeles rollout will include some new special events. Pink Carpet Night will have dancing, photo opportunities, and a snack bar. The Movie Days will feature a variety of Barbie animated films. And the Sips After Sunset events will invite those guests old enough to a cocktail party.

Tickets for the Los Angeles location will go on sale on March 8 and start at $34 for adults and $26 for kids. Advance ticket registration has also opened as of today, in anticipation of demand. The Toronto location had over 100,000 guests and even extended its run by three months, so the organizers are likely preparing for a large influx of people to the Los Angeles event. More information about the event can be found on the official website.
