Only 1,000 of the 2.75-inch collectibles are being produced, giving Yahoo Fantasy Plus subscribers first crack at snagging one ahead of the public release.

Yahoo Sports is entering the collectibles game with a spooky twist. The company has teamed up with ghostwrite, makers of the cult-favorite “ghost” figurines, to launch a limited-edition Yahoo Fantasy 100% ghost.

The figure, standing 2.75 inches tall, marks Yahoo’s first collaboration with ghostwrite and the first time a 100% ghost has been sold directly to the public. Previously, the sought-after collectibles were only available through blind box drops, leaving fans guessing what design they’d unwrap.

This time, the chase is clear: only 1,000 of the Yahoo Fantasy 100% ghost exist, making it a true limited edition.

Yahoo Fantasy Plus subscribers will get the first shot when sales open Sept. 1 at 9 a.m. ET. If any remain, the broader public can grab one starting Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. ET. The retail price is set at $25.

For toy sellers, the move signals a new intersection between fantasy sports and collectible culture, connecting Yahoo’s massive fantasy football audience with one of today’s most in-demand designer toy lines.
