YuMe Toys is ramping up its global growth strategy with the addition of three seasoned executives to its leadership team. The company has appointed Paul Fish as Head of The Americas, Ben Ibarra as Director of Sales for the Americas, and Michelle Phillips Jones as Global Marketing Director.
Fish brings more than 30 years of experience in the toy industry, with prior leadership roles at Mattel, Spin Master, and Bandai. His expertise in marketing, sales, and product development across global markets positions him to lead YuMe’s expansion throughout North and South America.
Ibarra, who has a background in licensing and retail execution, will focus on expanding YuMe’s retail presence. His experience includes work with top-tier brands such as Disney, Marvel, DC, and Universal. He recently relocated to Bentonville to support YuMe’s efforts at Walmart and other major retail accounts.
Jones, based in Los Angeles, joins YuMe with a marketing background from MGA Entertainment and Jazwares. She has worked on global brand-building campaigns for popular IPs such as Squishmallows, Rainbow High, L.O.L. Surprise!, Hello Kitty, and Pokémon. In her new role, she will oversee integrated marketing campaigns and international go-to-market strategies.
“Each of these hires adds strength where it matters most — insight, execution, and global perspective,” says Michael Kwan, CEO of YuMe Toys. “We’re building for long-term growth and innovation, and these are the right people to help drive that forward.”
These new hires reflect YuMe’s long-term commitment to growth through brand innovation, retail expansion, and fan-focused product development. The company continues to strengthen its global infrastructure as it scales operations in key markets worldwide.
