The New York Yankees are deepening their partnership with Hidden Pigeon Company (HPC) this summer with a new game day promotion and expanded product offerings tied to Mo Willems’ beloved book characters.
The Yankees will host Mo Willems Day at Yankee Stadium, Sunday, July 13, presented by Hidden Pigeon Company and FOCO. The first 10,000 guests ages 14 and younger will receive a plush Pigeon keychain as the Yankees face the Chicago Cubs. Fans can also meet The Pigeon on the 200 Level between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., near the T-Mobile Fan Zone. (The Toy Book editorial team will be first on line.)
Coinciding with the event, new Yankees x The Pigeon x Elephant & Piggie merchandise will debut at the Yankee Stadium Team Store, expanding on last season’s successful collaboration. Products for kids, infants, and adults include apparel made in partnership with New Era Cap and OT Sports, such as hoodies, tees, tank tops, and onesies.
“The Yankees can’t get enough of me,” The Pigeon exclaimed in a statement posted to Instagram.
Additionally, CreateOn launches magnetic tile playsets and character cubes inspired by Willems’ illustrations, and FOCO introduces bobbleheads and ornaments available later this season. The Yankees hosted two Mo Willems Days last year, giving young fans figures of The Pigeon, Elephant, and Piggie.
These new co-branded releases join the Yankees Style Collection, a seasonal rotation of curated fashion and character-driven collabs available exclusively through the team.
