Zigazoo, a social media platform designed for Generation Alpha, joins a licensing deal with Hangry Petz, a social media franchise that originated on the platform in November of last year. The program debuts at this year’s Licensing Expo Las Vegas at booth No. D220, where Toonz Media Group and Jay@Play showcase licensing opportunities for toys, games, media, and other consumer products.
Previews of the upcoming CGI-animated series will also debut on the platform, offering users an exclusive sneak peek. Additionally, a nationwide digital casting call for a Hangry Petz commercial launches later this year.
The Hangry Petz universe features characters from snacking-centric towns like Snackslyvania, Grumbleton, and Chomptown, all named by Zigazoo users via the platform’s polling tools. More than 59,000 custom stickers of the characters are also available on the platform for users to exchange and display. A Hangry Petz gifting campaign was hosted on the app, where kids across the platform made content about the franchise. Viral content creator That Little Puff joined the platform as a guest to host an interactive Hangry Petz-themed challenge.
