Zylie the Bear Brings Adventure to Oasis Summer Day Camp

The Adventures of Zylie the Bear partnered with Oasis Summer Day Camps to bring Zylie’s “Everyday is an Adventure” scrapbooking event series to campers this summer. The scrapbooking program will use Zylie’s worldwide adventures as inspiration for children to organize and store their memories in a scrapbook. The program will also be incorporated into after-school programs this fall.

The Zylie the Bear line follows Zylie, a young bear from Manhattan, on a series of international adventures. Zylie’s stories will expand this year through a mini-series of comic-style adventures starring Zylie, her little brother Theo, and their new friend Shen the Panda as they fly from Beijing to Sydney, Australia. When the three bears discover their Aunt Willa’s scrapbook from her time as a world-traveling journalist, they imagine themselves in the exotic locations she described.

Plans are in the works to release a third bear in the Zylie collection next year:  Kiki the Koala from Australia. This release will include Kiki in a bear kit similar to Zylie’s, a new book in the Zylie series, and new outfits for Zylie and Shen to wear in Australia. The Zylie the Bear Kit and Shen the Panda Kit were designed for children ages 3 and up.
