Following the recent success of its Marvel Legends Galactus Project that’s fully funded with 3 days left to go, the next project from the Hasbro Pulse HasLab has been revealed.  The crew is heading back to Cybertron for the Transformers Victory Saber project, the first Japanese canon Transformers figure.

Created in collaboration with TOMY and inspired by the Japanese anime Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Victory, Victory Saber is the greatest swordsman in the universe, Supreme Commander of the Autobots, and Leader of the Galactic Defense Force.

Victory Saber converts into multiple modes and comes with a 1-inch Brain of Courage Brainmaster figure;  5-inch Autobot Saber figure; 8.5-inch V-Star jet; 7.5-inch Victory Leo figure; and a Sword of Justice accessory as revealed on today’s Fan First Friday Livestream.

A total of 11,000 backers are required to push Victory Saber into production, and thus far, the campaign is off to a strong start with more than 2,600 backers pledging $179.99 in the first hours of the promotion.

In 2019, HasLab’s Transformers Unicron project was a massive success. After being shown at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC), the finished prototype was shown off at New York Comic Con (NYCC) in the booth of our sister publication, the Pop Insider.

This fall, Hasbro will host its own, virtual convention once more when Hasbro PulseCon takes place Oct. 23 and 24.
