The Juno Company Releases New Book

The Juno Company recently released its latest book, The Day the Music Stopped. The 40-page, illustrated hardcover book builds on the company’s mission to inspire an appreciation for music in children. The Day the Music Stopped is based on the popular Emmy Award-winning Juno Jr. DVD of the same name.

In the book, readers go on a journey through the magical world of Harmonia Springs where everything is made out of music. Readers will learn lessons of friendships through musical concepts, and find out how to bring music back to the world.

For a limited time, The Juno Company is offering a special promotion for fans that “like” the company on Facebook. For every book purchased, the company will donate a music education DVD to a child in need. The Juno Company has also partnered with the National Head Start Association with a goal to bring the gift of music to one million children in need.

The Juno Company Kicks Off National Reading Month with Do It Yourself ABC (Face)Book Contest

March is National Reading Month and The Juno Company wants you to celebrate. The Juno Company, a children’s digital new media company specializing in the creation of innovative music education products including movies, apps and games, toys, and books, launched the “Do It Yourself ABC (Face)Book Contest” where you can practice your rhymes and win daily prizes.

Getting involved in the contest is easy. Visit The Juno Company’s Facebook page, become a fan, and each day Juno will let you know that day’s designated letter of the alphabet. Once the letter is announced that’s your cue to post a music-related rhyme dedicated to someone special using the letter in as many creative ways as possible. Juno will pick a winner every day and prizes include Juno products, gift cards, and more.

The Juno Company, founded by mom and composer, Belinda Takahashi, Ph.D., is best known for its Emmy Award-winning Juno Baby line and its newly launched Juno Jr. line of products, which both feature original music composed and performed by live orchestral musicians and a cast of puppets that interact with children through creative and educational storylines. The characters play in the musical world of Harmonia Springs where trees are made of cellos, cars are shaped like bass clefs, and lamp posts like French horns, and the train that takes them on their journey is made up entirely of musical instruments. Through their journeys, the characters learn new musical concepts as they sing to the original, orchestral music.

The Juno Company to Release Board Book

The Juno Company is launching a publishing line, which will kick off with the release of Juno’s Musical ABCs board book. The board book takes children on a lyrical journey through the alphabet as they learn that “A is for applause” and “W is for waltz.” Author, actress, and model Brooke Shields will narrate the title, as well as three upcoming storybook CDs. For a limited time, with the purchase of the Juno’s Musical ABCs board book, consumers can register to download a free audio version from JunoBaby.com, which is narrated by Shields.

As with all Juno Baby products, for every storybook sold, the company will donate a special music education DVD to a child in need, as a part of its The One For All program.

Juno Company Announces Rising Stars National Competition

The Juno Company is launching Rising Stars Search, a national competition for children 8 years old and younger. Participating children will sing, dance, and perform to Juno Baby music for a chance to win three days and two nights in San Francisco, an appearance in an upcoming Juno Baby production, and other prizes.

The Rising Star Search is part of Juno Baby’s One for All bus tour in celebration of Juno Company’s partnership with the National Head Start Association and the One for All program. For every Juno Baby product purchased, the company will donate a music education DVD to a child in need, with the ultimate goal of distributing one million DVDs.

The One for All bus tour will include Emmy Award-winning orchestral music, meet and greet with the Juno character, photo opportunities for kids to have his or her photo taken with Juno Baby characters in their world using green-screen photo technology, and adventures with musical instruments.
