Spin Master Corp., Nickelodeon Movies, and Paramount Pictures have assembled an all-star lineup of voice talent for next year’s PAW Patrol: The Movie.
Animation vet Cal Brunker (Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature, Escape From Planet Earth) is directing the film, which is currently in production with all cast and creatives collaborating remotely.
The cast includes current PAW Patrol pitchman Dax Shepard (Idiocracy, Chips) alongside Kim Kardashian West, Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler Perry (Madea, Vice), Yara Shahidi (Black-ish, Trollhunters), Randall Park (Fresh Off The Boat, Ant-Man and the Wasp), Iain Armitage (Young Sheldon), Marsai Martin (Black-ish, An American Girl Story – Melody 1963: Love Has to Win), and Will Brisbin (Forbidden Playground).
In PAW Patrol: The Movie, Ryder and the pups are called to Adventure City to stop Mayor Humdinger from turning the bustling metropolis into a state of chaos. The film is said to amplify everything kids love about PAW Patrol, including exciting missions, high-stake rescues, new pups, and new vehicles.
Spin Master Entertainment’s Executive Vice President Jennifer Dodge is producing with Ronnen Harary, Spin Master’s co-Founder and co-CEO, Adam Beder, Spin Master’s executive vice president strategic partnership and franchise development, and Peter Schlessel serving as executive producers.
Paramount Pictures plans to release the film theatrically on Aug. 20, 2021.
