An epic, three-day play date is currently underway in Utah, where a group of builders is hard at work on constructing a massive building from Lincoln Logs.

Basic Fun! and Timber Moose Lodge are collaborating on a Guinness World Record attempt for the “Largest Lincoln Logs Structure” — a 200-square-foot log cabin utilizing more than 30,000 pieces.

“Lincoln Logs have been a beloved part of childhood for over 100 years,” says Jon Gumble, Basic Fun! senior product designer and lead engineer of the world record build. “The planned structure will be truly massive, and we are excited to work with Timber Moose Lodge, Toys for Tots and [TikTok star] Andi Aston on this team effort.”

This year’s world record attempt will eclipse the previous record which was set in 2018 with 17,503 Lincoln Logs.

Following its planned completion on Sept. 30, Basic Fun! will auction 100 specialty boxes of Lincoln Logs used in the world record build, along with a Lincoln Logs replica of Timber Moose Lodge designed and built by Ashton. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Lincoln Logs are licensed to Basic Fun! by Hasbro.
