Flat River Group, a distributor of toys, games, and other consumer products in addition to serving as a full-service provider of warehousing and fulfillment for a variety of e-commerce retailers, is strengthening its buying team.

The company promoted Dan Myers to vice president of purchasing and business development. Myers joined the company in March from WeCool Toys where he served as global sales director. He previously served in purchasing positions at a variety of retailers, including Meijer, Target, and Sears.

“From the moment he started at Flat River Group in March 2021, Dan has brought value to the company … from improving processes and implementing new systems to building a strong team of buyers and avenues of generating new business,” says Matt Dean, executive vice president, Flat River Group. “We are excited to have Dan in this new role and look forward to continuing to grow and innovate the business.”

Additionally, Flat River Group added five new buyers to its purchasing team this fall, including Monique Ray (senior buyer,) Kristen Siver (planning manager,) Nathan Peabody (associate buyer,) Parker McClure (associate buyer,) and Mariah Carlson (associate buyer.)
