Hawk Moth can’t stop the power of Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir in Mexico.
Just six months after opening its first office in Mexico, ZAG has inked deals with more than 30 new licensees, retailers, and promotional partners for Miraculous — Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
“Mexico is the largest and most mature market in Latin America and aspirational to Latino countries,” says ZAG’s Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Head of Consumer Products Julian Zag. “Miraculous Ladybug has 91.67% awareness in Mexico for girls ages 7–9 due to the robust content available on key platforms and everyone is excited for the upcoming animated feature that will debut later this year.”
New partners in Mexico include Yuyin Fotorama, Novelties Best Trading, Cool Things, Área Creativa, Helados Willy, Union Kids, Avante Textiles, E Fashion, Fantasy Ruz, 4E, Flying Wheel, Andromeda, Granmark, and Siglo XX1. Additionally, Miraculous branded merchandise will be featured at the Emoción Deportiva marathon race in Mexico City,
The Miraculous toy collection from ZAG Lab and Playmates Toys is distributed by Bandai Mexico in the region and continues to perform well. ZAG says that the line is currently experiencing a 130% increase in sales over last year and that new products will debut throughout Mexico this fall.
Miraculous — Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir airs daily on Televisa in Mexico and is also available on Disney Channel, Disney+, and Netflix.
