The Nacelle Co.‘s toy division is growing — literally.
The media company behind The Toys That Made Us and A Toy Store Near You, which recently revived the Robo Force and Sectaurs toy lines, will introduce the Garden Surprise collectible figure set to its expanding toy division. Nacelle has licensed the brand from Westminster Toys for worldwide manufacturing and distribution rights.
The move introduces a new demographic — kids — to Nacelle’s developing toy line, which currently largely focuses on retro and nostalgic ’80s franchises. Garden Surprise is a collectible line designed for kids with a surprise reveal experience that continues after the initial unboxing. When kids water one of the mini flower pots, they will grow and reveal a garden-themed figure. There will be 70 characters in multiple colors and designs — including flowers, fruits, vegetables, and more — in the first wave, in addition to ultra-rare figures.
“We are very excited to give young kids something new to torture their parents about,” says Nacelle Co. Founder and CEO Brian Volk-Weiss.
The Gardeneers will also launch alongside Garden Surprise. These mix-and-match mini dolls will feature swappable hairstyles, outfits, and accessories, and are companions to the Garden Surprise characters.
