Earlier this month, Build-A-Bear Workshop launched its new movie Glisten and the Merry Mission at Cinemark locations in major cities across the country.
At the events, kids built their movie-going pals from the Merry Mission plush collection and got to meet Glisten, the main character of the movie. Kids can get free tickets to see Glisten and the Merry Mission by purchasing a Build-A-Bear plush at participating locations.
“Seeing the joy on young faces brings the creation of our film and our beloved Glisten’s story to a full and complete circle,” says Sharon Price John, Build-A-Bear Workshop President and Chief Executive Officer. “A trip to a Build-A-Bear Workshop has evolved into a holiday tradition for many kids and ‘kids at heart’ alike, so to be able to add to memory-making festivities of the season through the release of Glisten and the Merry Mission is something very dear to us.”
Kids can join in the story of Glisten and the Merry Mission on Roblox where the Build-A-Bear Tycoon now features a Merry Mission journey, an in-game movie theater to check out the trailer, and a new mini-game.
Glisten and the Merry Mission will be available for streaming starting Dec. 1.
