Playcor is making its first-ever appearance at Astra Marketplace & Academy this year. At The Toy Coach’s Booth No. 435, attendees can peruse the company’s signature collection of baby toys, designed to look as intentional as the homes around them.
Founded by interior designer and mother Courtney Smithee, Playcor is on a mission to create functional, design-forward baby toys that mesh with families’ existing home decor. Each product features subtle, sophisticated colorways and an aesthetic-forward design while also targeting essential developmental skills, such as counting, stacking, and sensory play.

A standout from the showcase is Playcor’s Wooden Sensory Balls. This pack of three balls features a variety of textures and interactive elements for little hands to explore, including spinning pieces, dimples, and hidden mirrors. The set is available on its own or bundled with the Scalloped Rattle Bowl, a jingling bowl made from 100% food-grade silicone. Both products received the Gold Award at this year’s Mom’s Choice Awards.
Several products are designed to serve dual purposes in the home, such as the Large Play and Display Book, which unfolds into a magnetic playset, and the Flashcard Faux Coffee Table Book, a linen-covered storage box full of early learning activities. The Stack and Learn Coasters can protect your surfaces while doubling as a stacking toy, complete with shapes and numbers for matching games. Meanwhile, the silicone Chain Link Teether is gentle on babies’ gums yet visually appealing enough to display between chews.
Playcor will exhibit its collection at The Toy Coach’s Booth No. 435 during Astra Marketplace & Academy, taking place June 5-8 at the Baird Convention Center in Milwaukee. For more information about the company, visit playcor.com.
