Meccano reveals a new global licensing agreement with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team to develop officially licensed, premium construction sets designed for adult fans and experienced builders.
Manufactured and distributed worldwide by Addo Play, the Meccano Pro x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Car marks the brand’s first licensed product launch since Addo Play assumed control of Meccano in 2025.

The initial product is a highly detailed construction set inspired by the AMR25 race car. Designed for the premium adult construction category, the model combines Meccano’s engineering system with Aston Martin Aramco’s performance-driven design and technical innovation. Build features include working steering, a functioning engine, and a movable DRS system, delivering a hands-on and mechanically focused experience for advanced builders.

The collaboration also marks the debut of a new product within the Meccano Pro category. “We’re also proud that we are the first Formula One team to collaborate with Meccano on a licensed product,” Chapman adds.
The Meccano Pro range was first previewed during AW25 at Addo Play’s Los Angeles showroom. It will be showcased this month at Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg ahead of its global rollout.
Scheduled to launch worldwide in August 2026, the Meccano Pro x Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Car will be supported by a coordinated marketing campaign spanning digital, retail, and experiential activations. Planned initiatives include e-commerce promotion, social media engagement, influencer partnerships tied to motorsport and STEAM, in-store demonstrations, and live build experiences connected to select Formula One events.
