American Greetings Properties (AGP), the intellectual property and outbound licensing division of American Greetings Corporation, has announced a series of partnerships that will expand the reach of Care Bears at retail this fall. New agreements with FAB Starpoint, Karmin International, Sky High International, Tin Box Company of America, and Jumpin Jammerz will introduce a full range of new products including everything from puzzles and luggage to decorative tins and stickers.
Through these new agreements, the back-to-school season will be full of Care Bears charm, beginning with FAB Starpoint’s line of backpacks, tote bags, and luggage.
Tin Box Company of America will supplement with tin carry-alls, lunchbox tins, tin wastebaskets, and tin lockers. In the classroom, Sky High International will have it covered with back-to-school stationery and stickers. Outside the classroom, kids will have a selection of new Care Bears puzzles from Karmin International, and teens will be able to lounge in between classes with Care Bears footed pajamas from Jumpin Jammerz. The product line-up is slated for release across multiple retail channels.
Upon their debut in 1982, Care Bears quickly became a global sensation. Over the past decade, the Care Bears have continued to connect with kids, tweens and parents with licensed products. The new television series Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot is currently airing on The Hub.
