Families still can’t get enough of a certain Blue Heeler from down under.
BBC Studios Kids & Family inked a raft of new licensing deals and extensions for Bluey across multiple consumer products categories in North America.
In the toys and seasonal categories, Dynacraft (U.S.), Gemmy (U.S. and Canada), and Stoneridge (Canada) are joining the fun for bicycles, tricycles, skates, and seasonal decor, respectively. JAKKS Pacific’s Disguise has extended its deal to produce Bluey costumes and accessories for kids and will add an adult line this fall.
Additionally, Centric Brands, The Bentex Group, Handcraft, Zak! Designs, and Kurt Adler have inked licensing extensions while ASO, Children’s Apparel Network, DecoPac, Isaac Morris, NTD Apparel, and Thermos are new partners that will debut a host of new Bluey-inspired products this year.
“Bluey is a bonafide star with kids and families around the world and demand is high for series-inspired products,” says Suzy Raia, Senior Vice President Consumer Products and Business Development, BBC Studios Americas. “We’re so pleased to team up with such amazing partners, all leaders in their respective categories, who are as committed as we are to providing fans with even more play- and joy-filled adventures that extend the Bluey experience far and wide.”
Bluey follows the adventures of a lovable and inexhaustible six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her Dad, Mum and four-year-old little sister, Bingo. The series is designed to showcase the simple joy in family life by reflecting how kids learn and grow through play.
