Cloudco Entertainment has entered into multiple licensing partnerships in North America across various categories for its Care Bears brand in an effort to provide fans of all ages with a diverse range of product. The company also recently released Dare to Care Bear, a new addition to the Basic Fun! plush line featuring a belly badge with two happy shooting stars, as well as Care Bears Lil’ Besties, surprise mini figures that come in a mystery box.
New licensees include Panoceanic for sunglasses; Berkshire for kids’ headwear and rain gear; Smoko for adult apparel; Southern Telecom for electronic accessories and outdoor inflatable toys; Monogram for blind bag keychains and piggy banks; Tonies for audio players, Trends for posters and calendars; FHB for homeware products; and finally Townley for beauty merchandise.
Basic Fun! remains Care Bears’ master toy partner and will introduce new characters to kids and families. Other continued licensing partnerships include Rubies for costumes; Super Impulse for collectibles; Igloo for coolers; Mad Engine for apparel; American Greetings for greeting cards; and lastly Fun.com will continue its direct-to-retail partnership.
