Puzzlets, from Digital Dream Labs, will now be available at select Toys “R” Us stores and online. The app-enabled toy fuses STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) learning with gameplay to teach kids new ways of thinking, using the Bluetooth-enabled Play Tray and 22 programming tiles.
Puzzlets is an interactive gaming platform that teaches kids programming skills. The starter pack includes a free download for the first Puzzlets compatible game, Cork the Volcano, where kids plan out code and guide characters through puzzling levels. With the tap of a screen or click of a mouse, kids have full control through code of the character’s progression. Millions of possible Puzzlets combinations allow kids to come up with their own unique solutions.
