Disney Consumer Products and Topps, a trading card and collectible manufacturer under Fanatics Collectibles, have expanded their established trading card collaboration. Topps can now develop and distribute Disney, Pixar, and Marvel collectible trading cards globally, in addition to the Star Wars trading cards the company has been making since 1977.
Prior to the expansion agreement, Topps released Disney, Pixar, and Marvel digital collectibles through the apps Disney Collect! and Marvel Collect! Topps has also sold Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars trading cards in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa through topps.com and at fan conventions.
Following the expansion, Disney Consumer Products and Topps will collaborate on physical and digital trading cards for Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney. The new Marvel trading card collection will be available through retailers and at hobby shops in Q1 of 2025. The line will include Topps Finest X-Men ’97, which marks the first time the company has created and released Marvel trading cards globally.
