Funko will open a new storefront in the Philippines this June with the assistance of retailer Funtastik Enterprises Corp. The Philippines is a hotspot for comic conventions and pop culture enthusiasts in Southeast Asia, so the company aims to strengthen its ties to its already established fanbase while attracting newer fans.
The new location in the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay will offer merchandise fans of the brand have come to know and love, like the Funko Pop! and Bitty Pop! lines, as well as Loungefly bags and apparel. It will also offer store-exclusive merchandise and activations.
As a global brand, Funko is committed to expanding our presence in the most engaged and fastest-growing fan communities. The Philippines has been one of our strongest-performing markets in Asia, and this licensed store represents our investment in its passionate fanbase. We’ve seen great success with similar licensed stores in the Middle East, and we’re excited to bring that same momentum here. By deepening our local retail footprint and enhancing direct-to-consumer experiences, we’re eager to inspire connection, self-expression, and fun for our fans—wherever they are in the world.”
