Disney reorganized its international business ahead of its pending acquisition of Twenty-First Century Fox. Last week, the studio named the executives from both Disney and Fox who will lead the global units.
Rebecca Campbell, who currently serves as president of The Walt Disney Co. EMEA, will continue in her role with added oversight of Russia and CIS. Diego Lerner, who currently serves as president of The Walt Disney Co. Latin America, will continue leading the Latin American business. Uday Shankar, currently the president of 21st Century Fox Asia and chairman and CEO of Star India, will become chairman of Star and Disney India and president of The Walt Disney Co. Asia Pacific.
Jan Koeppen, the current president of Fox Networks Group Europe and Africa, will serve as president of television and direct to consumer for The Walt Disney Co. EMEA. Marina Jigalova-Ozkan will continue in her current role as DTCI’s managing director of Russia and CIS for The Walt Disney Com. CIS. Carlos Martinez, currently president of Fox Networks Group in Latin America will serve as executive vice president and general manager of media networks, North America and Brazil for The Walt Disney Co. Latin America.
