Fresh off the launch of the new Tamagotchi Paradise devices, Bandai Namco is bringing its adorably addictive virtual pets on their first-ever U.S. tour
The Tamagotchi USA Road Trip is an interactive experience inspired by the playful, 16-bit chaos of Bandai Namco’s beloved toys. At each stop, guests of all ages can explore colorful activity zones, snap pictures with characters, and be among the first to try the new Tamagotchi Paradise devices. The pop-up runs through Oct. 5 and visits six cities nationwide, including Chicago, Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix.Â
The event celebrates pets both past and present. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., fans can shop bestselling Tamagotchi devices and accessories, including an exclusive shell just for the Road Trip, and deck them out with stickers, charms, and rhinestones at the Customization Station. Not only can fans get their paws on Tamagotchi Paradise, but they can also flip through a larger-than-life timeline charting the toys’ journey from the ’90s to today. Lastly, visitors can compete for prizes in real-life challenges straight from the toy, like a silly Poop Clean-Up Sweep Game.Â
The Tamagotchi USA Road Trip runs through Oct. 5. Admission is free and open to all ages. Visit Bandai Namco’s website for more information and to find the closest stop.
