What just might be the world’s first toy store dedicated to glow-in-the-dark and light-up toys is opening in Las Vegas this week.

Kappa Toys is expanding its footprint as Las Vegas’ destination toy store with a new location, this time in Area15, an entertainment, retail, and experience complex located minutes from the Vegas strip.

“Kappa Toys has always focused on the experience of toy shopping, so opening in Area15 is a perfect fit,” says Lizzy Newsome, toy curator, Kappa Toys. “It lets us experiment with new display concepts that wouldn’t fit in a traditional retail space.”

The new location is illuminated with blacklight to highlight a full selection of toys that are neon, reactive, or glow-in-the-dark, including lava lamps, glow stars, aliens, astronauts, and much more.

Kappa Toys Glow opens Friday, May 14, 2021, and will feature photo ops, live product demos, and limited edition product releases.
