Some hard-hitting new personalities are set to join Starting Lineup.
At this week’s Hasbro Investor Day presentation, the company revealed that it’s inked new licensing agreements with the National Football League (NFL) and National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). Under the new deal, some of the biggest names in football will join the relaunched Starting Lineup brand of action figures beginning next year.
Starting Lineup relaunched this fall with an inaugural lineup of 6-inch scale action figures inspired by players from the National Basketball League (NBA).
“We are very excited to collaborate with the NFL and NFLPA as part of our re-launch of the legendary Starting Lineup brand,” says Hasbro President and COO Eric Nyman. “The reaction to the brand’s return has been tremendous and it’s a huge win for sports fans and collectors alike as we continue the brand’s legacy and bring action figures from the NFL to the line.”
The Starting Lineup relaunch is in partnership with Fanatics and is offered direct-to-consumer via Hasbro Pulse and Fanatics-operated team stores.
The NFL/NFLPA collection will be available to preorder beginning next year.
