Heathside Trading, a UK-based pop culture distributor and manufacturer, has acquired the intellectual property (IP) and assets of Quantum Mechanix, a Los Angeles-based merch maker.
“QMx customers and direct-to-consumer business will integrate with the ranges and brands that we have been developing, which include Master Replicas and Khadou brands, which will allow us to leverage a wider range of collectibles from many of our partners and licensors,” says Darren Epstein, Executive Vice President of Global Business Development at Heathside Trading. “Our plan is to utilize the strength of some of the QMx IP and brands in 2024, and we look forward to adding to the Heathside expansion.”
Quantum Mechanix was founded in 2006 and is best known for its Q-Figs action figures, Q-Plush, Zippermouth, and a dozen more brands based on pop culture brands including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, DC Comics, Harry Potter, and more.

This acquisition is continuing Heathside’s B2B and B2C expansion plans.
