A pair of classic Play-Doh playsets from the 1970s are getting a modern upgrade for 2021.
Officially slated for release at mass retailers beginning Jan. 1, the latest editions of Hasbro‘s Play-Doh Drill ‘N Fill Dentist and Play-Doh Crazy Cuts Stylist both hit Walmart a little bit early.
For more than 40 years, these playsets have been sparking imagination and creativity through the use of Play-Doh modeling compound and an assortment of colorful and creative tools.
DRILL ‘N FILL DENTIST
Kids can play dentist by making the patient stick out its tongue before using the toy tooth mold to create a whole row of Play-Doh teeth. Kids can use the hand-powered toy drill and syringe extruder tool to remove the cavity-colored modeling compound that contains green speckles that make the patient look like they have gunk in their teeth. The updated tool set includes a braces roller, toothbrush, picker, flosser, and mirror. The set comes with 8 cans of Play-Doh, including gold and silver for making braces and fillings.
PLAY-DOH CRAZY CUTS STYLIST
Based on the famous Fuzzy Pumper Barber Shop Playset, the Crazy Cuts Stylist set comes with everything that kids need to start cutting and styling Play-Doh hair. Kids can make their customer’s hair “grow” by adding as much Play-Doh modeling compound as they can. Toy styling attachments adjust the shape and thickness of the hair while kids use scissors, crimpers, hair rollers, and more to customize the look.
This fall, Hasbro invited adults to get in on the action for the very first time with Play-Doh Grown Up Scents.
