Summer is taking a prehistoric leap into licensing as the Jurassic World franchise evolves with Jurassic World Rebirth, coming to theaters July 2. Universal Products and Experiences will usher in a new era across consumer products, retail programs, digital content, and theme park experiences.
Starting June 1, the toy aisles will make a Jurassic jump into dinosaur-themed items, with products such as Mattel’s Spinosaurus, Fisher-Price’s Imaginext Mosasaurus, and the LEGO Group’s Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex building set. Kids can care for their own pet dinosaur with interactive plush and toys like Spin Master’s Primal Hatch, WOW! Stuff’s Aquilops puppet, and Just Play’s Roarin’ T. rex.
Roaring good times continue as consumers can find exclusive fashions and more at mass retailers and specialty stores. Universal Products and Experiences will launch apparel collaborations with brands like PUMA and Lingua Franca NYC.
Video game enthusiasts can partake in virtual experiences with Frontier Developments’ third installment of its gaming franchise. Gamers can also expand their collections with Nex Playground’s upcoming game inspired by Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Ludia’s Jurassic World Alive, and Saber Interactive’s Jurassic Park: Survival.
Consumers can head to Universal Destinations and Experiences theme parks to experience immersive attractions inspired by Jurassic World Rebirth. To celebrate the new film, the park will feature exclusive merchandise and an interactive Baby Dolores Aquilops Shoulder Pal.
