The Boglins emerged from their slumber just ahead of Halloween and now the legendary crew of creeps from the 1980s are ready to make a mess out of Thanksgiving.
In the third episode of Boglins Are Back, it’s “A Boglins Thanksgiving” as Tim Clarke continues to be taunted by the toys he co-created in the 1980’s as they continue working toward their ultimate goal: World Domination.
TriAction Toys‘ Kickstarter campaign to bring the Boglins was exclusively revealed by the Toy Book last month, and following the reveal of the brand’s full 2021 lineup the campaign has been chosen as an official Kickstarter “Project We Love” with backers pledging more than $136,000 against an initial $25,000 goal. So what does a Boglin eat for Thanksgiving dinner? Watch the new episode of Boglins are back to find out!
Originally released by Mattel, Boglins have amassed a cult following over the past 30 years, and next year, kids and collectors can welcome some new characters and reinvented favorites into the fold. Boglins co-creator Tim Clarke, licensor 7 Towns, and Mark Freedman of Surge Licensing are working with TriAction Toys to relaunch the line in all of its original glory. The hand-controlled figure puppets have a rubbery feel and moveable glow-in-the-dark eyes, and are inside packaging that recalls the originals with “wooden” crate-like boxes with bent plastic jail bars.
Fans and collectors can back the Boglins through Dec. 27, exclusively on Kickstarter.
