The Care Bears are getting a soft makeover. Through a fresh co-branded collaboration between Jazwares and Cloudco Entertainment, the residents of Care-A-Lot will bring their Care Bear stare to FigBands, BLDR, Squishmallows, BumBumz, HugMees, and more Jazwares brands.
The first wave will fill toy shelves globally in 2026.
“Care Bears is one of those rare legacy brands that continues to inspire emotion, nostalgia, and joy,” says Judd Karofsky, Executive Vice President at Jazwares. “Bringing them into our most loved product formats is a perfect way to spark excitement across generations and fandoms. We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Cloudco on these one-of-a-kind creations.”
The Care Bears were introduced in 1982 through greeting cards, and later, consumer products and toys. They starred in a series of television specials and a film trilogy in the 1980s. Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Max via its Cartoonito preschool block air the animated series Care Bears: Unlock the Magic. It was among the first intellectual properties to inspire a feature film based on a toy line.
The announcement follows an Instagram post from both companies promising friendship between Cam and Sunshine in March. The collaborative Reel promised fans availability this fall.
The collaboration spans a wide-ranging lineup, including pet products like collars, toys, and beds; wearable accessories; construction playsets through the BLDR line; costumes for kids, adults, and pets; and plush through Squishmallows, BumBumz, HugMees, Flipamallows, Micromallows, Sleepamallows, and more.

While Basic Fun! remains Care Bears’ master toy partner in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., this collaboration gives the franchise new reach through some of Jazwares’ top-performing categories.
