Thomas & Friends: Adventures! Game

Mattel Inc. launched a new mobile game based on Thomas & Friends for iOS and Android this week.

In Thomas & Friends: Adventures!, kids can learn about different cultures from around the world as they build their own train tracks and race around each country. China, India, Australia, Tanzania, and Sodor are among the countries that players will visit and learn problem solving skills from Thomas and his friends. The game is designed to foster learning and imagination.

Next year, Mattel will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Thomas & Friends, which made its literary debut in 1945 as The Three Railway Engines — the first book in the long-running Railway Series. The company debuted a few new toys from the line at Toy Fair New York last month. Additionally, Bachmann Trains will release a new, HO-scale train set, Thomas’ Christmas Delivery, for the 2019 holiday season. The set is inspired by a classic tale in which a Thomas has promised Sir Topham Hatt that he can safely deliver holiday gifts to all his friends on the Island of Sodor during a snowstorm on Christmas Eve.
