Industry big Mattel is making sure its presence at Toy Fair 2023 is known, with a series of activations and sponsorships planned to take place throughout the fair.
“Mattel is committed to adding to the energy and excitement of Toy Fair,” says Steve Totzke, president & chief commercial officer at Mattel. “You will see Mattel’s presence across the show in a number of different ways, including special exhibits and high-profile sponsorship activities that will benefit the broad toy community and the beloved show.”
Mattel is sponsoring Toy Fair’s Hospitality Lounge as well as the Student Congress, which encourages students to learn about the toy industry as a potential future career. The company also plans to have executives and staff on the show floor, and have activations at the Javits Center.
“As the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere, and with 98% of exhibit space already sold out, the global toy industry is eagerly anticipating Toy Fair,” says Kimberly Carcone, Executive Vice President of Global Market Events at The Toy Association, producer of Toy Fair. “And, as one of the largest and most recognizable toy companies in the world, Mattel’s commitment to Toy Fair underscores the excitement we all feel about coming together again in New York City for what will be an unforgettable toy, play, and youth entertainment event!”
Further announcements from Mattel and The Toy Association will reveal other planned activities as we approach the 2023 Toy Fair dates. The Fair will be running from Sep. 30-Oct. 3 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
