More doodles and scribbles are coming to FOX watchers’ TV screens this year.
Mattel’s game show, Pictionary has been renewed for a second season on FOX First Run.
Hosted by Jerry O’Connell, each episode of Pictionary is 30 minutes long. Much like the board game, the TV series features two teams as they try to guess what their teammates are drawing. Each team is helmed by a celebrity, such as Kate Flannery from The Office; Matt Iseman, the host of American Ninja Warrior; and Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, while the other two players are regular people.
“Week by week, ‘Pictionary’ continues to grow in popularity, becoming that friend that viewers rely on for a half an hour of pure fun and enjoyment,” says Stephen Brown, Executive Vice President of Programming and Development for FOX First Run and FOX Television Stations.
Pictionary previewed in 2021 and premiered in syndication nationally last fall. Like the first season, season two of the game show will have 180 episodes with production starting this summer and airing later in the year.
