It’s the season for giving, and the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) has plans for delivering on the spirit of the holidays.
With the help of Mattel Philanthropy, the LAFC hosts 50 kids from the El Segundo, California area Dec. 16 from 4-7 p.m. for a visit to the company’s headquarters for some fun holiday shopping. As part of its Season of Giving initiative, presented by Ford, the club will give each child a gift certificate to explore a Holiday Toy Tent and select their favorite toys from Mattel’s wide range of brands, like Hot Wheels, Barbie, and Monster High.
There will also be various holiday-themed stations for kids and their families to enjoy, such as a cookie-decorating station and a gift-wrapping station. The event supports the initiatives of LAFC, Ford, and Mattel’s Play It Forward initiative, which combines their efforts to spread holiday cheer and strengthen community bonds.
