While Mattel President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Dickson is playing coy when it comes to the “secrets” of the company, he had a lot to share with kid interviewer Kedar Narayan, the official Ambassador for People of Play’s (POP) Young Inventor Challenge.

The company behind Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price is gearing up for another big year, and in a new POPDuo interview, Dickson offers insight into what life is like at a toy company and what the future of play may look like. And he’s doing it through questions that kids (and some adults) may have about the industry. Check out the video below:
