Super Impulse’s Poptaters brand is launching a new wave of licensed characters — all from popular Netflix series.
Poptaters feature Hasbro’s classic Potato Heads brand mashed up with pop culture icons. Since the brand’s launch, Super Impulse has released several waves of Poptaters figures across various licensing partnerships. Now, the newest offerings from the brand will feature characters from Netflix.
The newest line of Poptaters includes 451 and Doll from Squid Game, Wednesday from Wednesday, and Dustin from Stranger Things. Fans who already have Poptaters figures can mix and match parts from the new releases, making unique combinations of brands on one Potato Head.
Each Poptaters figure comes with an original Potato Head body, a set of interchangeable body parts, stackable collector packaging, and one surprise Potato Head original piece. The first wave of figures featured Gene Simmons of KISS, Optimus Prime from Transformers, The Joy of Painting host Bob Ross, and Garbage Pail Kid Adam Bomb. The brand originally launched in January of last year, and was featured in the September 2022 issue of The Toy Book.
The newest Poptaters are available now on Amazon and several in-store retailers for $14.99-17.99. They join existing Poptaters figures, with other licensees including Star Trek, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Office, and more.
