The Oscars of the toy industry are just four months away!

Nominations are now being accepted for The Toy Foundation’s (TTF) 24th Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards. This year’s TOTY Awards program will honor outstanding products, properties, individuals, and campaigns across 23 categories.

Most importantly, every submission supports TTF’s philanthropic mission to support kids in need through the benefits of play.

“The TOTY Awards are the night to celebrate the very best! This year, we are excited to spotlight both companies and individuals propelling our industry forward with six new categories, as well as 17 product categories, that provide valuable opportunities to drive consumer engagement ahead of the holiday shopping season,” says Anne Carrihill, chair of the TOTY Awards Committee and Amazon’s Director for Toys and Games. “What makes the night even more special, [is] the TOTY Awards support The Toy Foundation’s work to make sure all children have access to play — an initiative Amazon is passionate about.”

The 24th annual TOTY Awards takes place on Sept. 29 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City at 6:30 p.m. The event kicks off Toy Fair, taking place Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at the Javits Center.
